Conservative comedian Evan Sayet says the American left is so opposed to argument or debate becayse liberals view thought as so inextricably bound to race, identity and orientation that they “have actually turned thinking into a hate crime.”

I got up at 5:00am on Saturday morning, and drove two hours to Riverside for a conference. It was well worth the trip. I must congratulate the United Inland Empire Conservative Conference. They are a group of Tea Parties and conservative clubs that only just joined together this year

 

They were able to put together a program that was both informative and entertaining...

As I reported in the weekend open thread, I attended the first Unite IE Conservative Conference on Saturday. The conference was held in Riverside, CA and was a fantastically organized meeting to bring together numerous conservative organizations operating in and around Southern California.

 

I promised to highlight at least part of the information-packed event and will share about two conservative projects that I learned about in today’s Watercooler ...

While the speakers may not agree on everything, and I will admit there were a couple things I did not agree with some of them on, the overall message was that Conservatism is not dead in California if we work together.

 

An event of this type in California, a state written off for dead by many on the right, was nothing short of historic.  The crowd was highly energized throughout the conference and left with a sense of hope and purpose, something that has been hard to come by here in ...
